FINANCING OUR VISION

Despite the exploits in cities/towns and villages of ministry work, it will be always challenging to cope with the problem of funding our operations. And despite the glorious vision we have, finance has continued to be one key challenge YWFSL is facing.

God has been faithful. There are still faithful givers who are committed to YWFSL. But as the needs become enormous, more support is needed to meet our financial needs, both Nationally and regionally.

THE ROLE OF A YOUTH IN FINANCING THE VISION

YWFSL is a Youth ministry therefore it must first be funded by Youth. Staff and Associates are there to partner with the Youth to achieve the vision of building future leaders in their communities.

Our philosophy of “Youth reaching Youth for Christ” must not stop with Evangelism, Leadership, Responsible Church Membership and Discipleship.

CHANNELING THE MONEY

It is very important that a proper and effective means of collecting responses to support YWFSL is devised. A lot of money meant for YWFSL has been given to other needy organizations because there was no person either to collect it or lack of proper instruction on channeling the money.

Any money raised for YWFSL by Youth in their region should be channeled through the Branch President/Treasurer in charge of that region/Branch, who has to send the money to the Branch Regional Committee (B.R.C) Treasurer who will take record of that and then send it to the Bank account with provided receipts. WHAT DO WE NEED MONEY FOR?

Some of the financial commitments of YWFSL, both nationally and regionally include:

  1. Staff salaries

  2. Training programs/Workshops

  3. Visitation to YWFSL groups/Branches and Associates

  4. Evangelism and Missions Trips

  5. Building projects

  6. Outreaches to Opening of new Branches

  7. House and office rent

  8. Communications and publications

  9. Office equipment, supplies, etc.
